Strollers often feature shopping baskets underneath which make them invaluable for visits into the town or city. Some strollers can be purchased very cheaply, at less that £50 for a very basic stroller, while others include added features, extras and accessories reflected in their price.

Finally, buggies are similar to both strollers and pushchairs, but their design allows better use on rough ground, making them perfect for more adventurous families. Buggies tend to offer larger wheels and easy-to-handle frames, along with extra padding in the seats, and suspension so your children are comfortable. Buggies are also easier to fold down and store away in compact spaces, making them a good choice for people living in apartments, or who have smaller cars.
